Well, after many years of questionable experiences at many eating establishments I’ve finally been nudged enough to start sharing them.  Now I know what your thinking, “We’ve all had bad experiences at restaurants so what’s so special about this guy?”  Well, you would only need to ask my family, friends, and co-workers that have dined out with me and then you would know.  They would all say, “Unbelievable, how does something always seem to happen to Kirk?  Bad karma?”

Which, leads me to the site name:  Restaurant Karma.  Some say karma comes back to “Bite you in the A$$” but I’ve yet to figure out what I initially did to have this kind of luck with one of the staples of life, food.

My initial plan for this site is to share my dining experiences as they happen.  Perhaps we can then determine why I have this bad karma.  Some experiences may be great, some may be so-so with just a slight hiccup, and some well, may be of the type that my friends refer to as:  I got Kirked or You got Kirked (yes, they’ve made my name a verb).  Usually these stories/experiences become comical, which I hope will entice you to return to the site often for some laughs.  As well, I will provide you with my personal experiences (both good and bad) at the restaurants, which may help you decide on where to eat out, or not (I often ask my wife if I can bring a PB&J sandwich with me to the restaurant).

If I don’t make it out to a restaurant for a while I will share an old story, which I am sure you will find humorous.  All of my friends do!  As well, many experiences will be with my family, which include a couple of little ones.  They always seem to add to the excitement.
